Research
My research focuses primarily on microfluidic organ‑on‑chip systems in the context of pulmonary diseases. One of the projects I am working on investigates lung–gut axis communication using microbiome‑based bacterial models. Inter‑organ communication, particularly involving the gut, is an increasingly prominent area of study.
In addition, I am involved in projects exploring coatings for lung stents aimed at improving their long‑term durability by trying to prevent restenosis.
