Research
Worked on different projects for all PI’s within the EXPIRE group including the ARMS project – ALI/organoid cultures, studying the wound healing response of fibroblasts in vitro and the role of mitochondria dysfunction in COPD.
Currently working on disrupted crosstalk between alveolar epithelial cells and the mesenchymal cell population in IPF, using an organoid model. Furthermore establishing primary lung cells (Bronchial epithelial cells/Fibroblasts/Lung mesenchymal stem cells) from donor lung tissue to establish a biobank for future research.
